The Society for Perioperative Research and Care’s (SPRC) mandate is to bring together learners, clinicians and researchers engaged in Perioperative Medicine and to promote its practice globally. The Society is dedicated to promoting perioperative education and research and ensuring optimal perioperative care informed by the best research evidence. Its members provide information, education, mentoring and support for all learners, practicing clinicians and scientists involved in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative patient care.

The Society hosts the annual Perioperative Care Congress, which brings together multi-disciplinary heath care providers who gather to share ideas, debate and learn about leading edge clinical practices to improve perioperative short, intermediate, and long-term outcomes.
