Learning Objectives for this program include:

Describe perioperative bleeding: TRACTION, POISE 2 and 3, and PRICE trials, perioperative tranexamic and aspirin use in non-cardiac surgery, and a debate liver resection surgery and tranexamic acid use.

Discuss, review, and describe prehabilitation and postoperative pain: PREVENT MINS trial, prehabilitation interventions, incidence and risks for postoperative pain and patient characteristics and 30-day readmission after non-cardiac surgery.
